We welcomed this beautiful filly to the world!
We attended our first horse show of the season which was the Rushmount Sportpony Show. Believe In Magic was 1st place 3 year old and Over Mares and qualified for the Royal Winter Fair 2023 and Alvesta Foxglove was Reserve Senior Champion!
May has been a very busy month for us at Crown Ridge Farms! We welcomed these beautiful foals to the world.
We are excited to announce the arrival of our first foal of 2023! A gorgeous, black colt sired by Hillcrest's Top Hat and out of our homebred mare Crown Ridge Millie Milia (by *Downland Whimsical). We look forward to watching this colt mature.
2023 marks our 20th year breeding ponies! Thank you to all the owners of Crown Ridge ponies.
Happy to announce our Purina Ambassadorship has been renewed for 2023! We are grateful to Purina Equine Canada for all their support over the years!
We are SO excited about how our ponies performed at the 2022 Royal Winter Fair! Crown Ridge Indiana Joves was the overall Sportpony StarSearch Champion out of 70 ponies. Alvesta Foxglove was Reserve Champion Section B Welsh pony as well as being 3rd overall Sportpony StarSearch Champion. Voxton Statue's Magic Rascal was 2nd in the Sportpony Foal class and 3rd in the Half-Welsh 2 year old and under class out of 20 ponies. We brought two client owned ponies to the Royal this year as well. *Delami Red Legend brought home Reserve Champion Section A Welsh Pony and Believe in Magic was 2nd place 2 year old Sportpony Filly/Gelding and Reserve Junior Champion.
We look forward to 2023 show season.
We are absolutely over the moon excited to announce we have added the gorgeous *Wedderlie Mardi Gras son Hickory Hollow Chetco Eagle to our stallion lineup. He is everything we hoped for and more.
Our foaling season has officially ended for 2023. We have 7 gorgeous, healthy foals on the ground and we are so pleased with the quality of each one.
So very excited to announce a new boy on the block here at Crown Ridge for breeding season 2022! Please welcome the imported Section A Welsh Mountain Pony - *Delami Red Legend (*Sunwillow Galong x *Delami Simply Red - shown in the bottom two photos). Red Legend will be the perfect cross for WB's & TB's to produce large pony foals as well as bringing wonderful Mountain Pony lines back into the North American ponies.
He will be arriving in March and we will get some updated photos of him. He will be available AI and will be shown in Ontario in the welsh ponies classes and hopefully at The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. We are very excited to welcome this beautiful 2 year old gelding to Crown Ridge Farms - SFS All For One. He is a son of Crown Ridge Just One Wish out of Front N Centre by Tantallon All American (Benlea Rambler). We look forward to bringing him along as an investment pony.
We are absolutely THRILLED to welcome Hillcrest's Top Hat to our stallion lineup for the remainder of 2020 breeding season as well as the 2021 breeding season. Thank you to Emily Elek for the opportunity to stand him here. "Topper" is a proven sire of top notch Hunter Ponies who have competed and won at the highest level all over North America. He is the only full welsh stallion still standing at public stud by the incredibly successful sire Gayfields Vida Blue.
We have had a great breeding season so far! Thank you to all the wonderful mare owners who booked their mares for breeding this year. We are VERY thrilled with how the ponies performed at the 2018 Royal Winter Fair. Crown Ridge Just One Wish was 1st place stallion, Crown Ridge Indiana Joves was 1st yearling, Crown Ridge Royal Jovilee was 2nd place 2-year-old, Cusop Jovial won Get of Sire and Imagine won Progeny of Dam. The biggest excitement was for the Overall Champion Sportpony StarSearch Class. Just One Wish was Champion, Royal Jovilee was Reserve Champion and Indiana Joves was 3rd! This was out of 65 of the top Canadian ponies.
We had a fabulous 2018 show season and qualified 6 ponies for the Royal Winter Fair! We are bringing down 3 Sportponies - Crown Ridge Just One Wish, Crown Ridge Royal Jovilee and Crown Ridge Indiana Joves.
