We have admired Maple Side ponies for quite a while now, and were very excited when we were given the opportunity to own one. Demi is a wonderful example of the top quality ponies that came out of Carol Lush's Maple Side breeding program. She has everything a hunter ponies needs to be competitive at the highest level of competition. She has an extremely laid back attitude about everything, floating movement at all three gaits and a 10+ jump. She never had a show record as she went straight into being a mom.

Demi's sire needs no introduction to the hunter pony world. His offspring are known for their incredible movement, their fantastic form over fences and their athletic ability. Some of his most successful offspring include Magical Diamond (2011 USEF HOTY Green Pony Champion), Maple Side Denzel (Reserve Champion Large Pony at Devon 2012) and Steal the Crowd (HOTY Medium Pony Hunter 2012). Demi is full sibling to the lovely pony Steal the Crowd.

Demi's dam has all the top hunter pony names in her pedigree as well. She is by the Thoroughbred stallion Clouds Hill. He has sired many ponies for Woodlands Farm that have successfully competed in the hunter ring. Velveteen Rabbit's dam is by the incomparable Cusop Sparklet and is also full sister to Rocky Rabbit.
