We didn't have to look very far when we started the search for the next step to our breeding program. Alvesta Farms in Alberta, Canada is a long-time breeder of beautiful, kid-friendly Welsh ponies that have the type and imported bloodlines that we love here at Crown Ridge Farms. This is where we found the lovely Alvesta Foxglove. We purchased Foxglove as a weanling, and he came to us as in his yearling year. He is everything we hoped he would be - typey, fancy, well-bred and a perfect temperament for siring kid-friendly ponies.

Foxglove had a successful show career as a young pony. He was year-end Section B 2 and under Champion in 2018 and won many 1st place ribbons throughout the year. We look forward to bringing him out to shows as a mature stallion.

Foxglove's first crop of foals are arriving in 2021 and we are very pleased with them. He is siring mostly dilute foals and they all have been very correct, typey and very friendly. We look forward to his future here at CRF.
